I have chosen to exercise the right of American citizens to assume an Achievement of Arms, and these are the arms I have chosen.
I blazon this as:
Celesté, a fire upon three logs with smoke rising proper, at chief a semi-circle sable, thereuopon seven stars argent arrayed as the Delphinus constellation.
Mantling: Argent doubled sable.
Crest: A wild duck rising wings addorsed sable, billed and footed tenné.
I have provided both Native American and European renderings, both corresponding to the same blazon. Although American sheilds do not customarily have crests, I feel this rendering has a pleasant aesthetic. I have also created a nautical burgee variant that I display from boats I own, this described as: A dove-tail burgee celesté, with a bordure greatly diminished argent, a wild duck rising wings addorsed sable, along the hoist a semi-circle sable, thereupon seven stars argent arrayed as the Delphinus constellation.
